Never count a superhero out, especially when an Irishman with a big pot o’ gold and an international reach has your back.
The New York Post reported last week that “Spider-Man Turn off The Dark” at The Hilton Theatre in New York is not down for the count just yet. As reported by The Post Bono is rallying the troops to help Spidey untangle his web.
“Bono’s too smart to put his own money in the show, but word on the street is that he’s tapped into his vast network of rich friends and business associates to restart production.”
Bono & his band mates also are set to open their US Tour Sept 12 in Chicago at soldier field, which could provide additional media attention toward the production of “Spider-Man”.
Look for U2 to “Elevate” the playing field at Giants Stadium in New Jersey Sept 23 & 24.
The Former date on 9/25 was moved to 9/23 to enable the New York Jets to move their 9/27 game to 1pm to accomodate those observing the Jewish holiday, and also to enable the crew enough time to dismantle the massive “Claw” staging.
