The U2 360 Tour may have left town, but Bono & the boys are coming back to New York this week to perform at Carnegie Hall with a host of other musicians on October 4th to perform with fellow Dubliner Gavin Friday.
The show (taking place on Sunday NOT Friday, so do not get confused!), is a benefit to help raise funds to combat AIDS in the poorest countries of the world.

Three weeks later U2, Metallica, Eric Clapton with fellow YardBirder Jeff Beck & The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin will all be present at Madison Square Garden for the 25th Anniversary Concerts taking place 10/29 & 30th.
Other performers scheduled for The Hall of Fame shows are, Bruce Springsteen, Croby Still & Nash, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder & Paul Simon.
