In an announcement released by LN yesterday:

Lenny Kravitz has unfortunately been forced to cancel his performance tonight  (Thursday, October 15th) in New York City. The artist’s performance this evening was to be the fourth in a five show residency series at The Fillmore at Irving Plaza.

Said Lenny Kravitz “I’m sorry to make this announcement so late in the evening but there will be no show tonight.  For those who were at my concert last night, you know that I blew my voice out. I have been working all day trying to get it to work but it is just too fatigued. I will reschedule this show immediately. New York has been so good to me. These shows have been a phenomenal experience for me.  Being so close to my fans here has brought me back home!! I can’t wait to get back on stage this Sunday.”

Kravitz’s NYC club dates are part of an exclusive run of shows in the US to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his classic debut release Let Love Rule. Lenny Kravitz looks forward to resuming his tour this Saturday, October 17th at MGM at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, CT. His remaining NYC date will be this Sunday, October 18th at The Fillmore at Irving Plaza. Ticket holders for tonight’s concert should hold on to their tickets until a new show date is announced. His US tour will culminate with Kravitz headlining the Voodoo Experience Festival in New Orleans, LA on November 1st.

The New date at The Fillmore in NY is Thursday October 22.
