| President Obama was in New York on Tuesday for some conferences & it turned out he was in the same building as Bob Weir and Ratdog. Although the President did not attend the concert, The Manhattan Center building where both took place was in a virtual lockdown by the secret service. Not the kind of night to be a Dead Head driving that train high on cocaine. Probably would not work out well at the very thorough search every attendee had to go through to get upstairs to The Grand Ballroom last night.
Bob Weir & Ratdog continue their Presidential free run up at The Beacon Theatre October 22, 23. & 24 and Bob Weir returns to The Hammerstein in December with Phil Lesh on the 8th & 9th. Opening nights set list at The Grand Ballroom: I: Jam > Truckin > Ramble On Rose > Lucky Enough > Picasso Moon > Lost Sailor > Saint of Circumstance > Dark Star > Bertha |
| II: Stealin > Desolation Row > The Weight, Good Morning Little Schoolgirl > Revolution > Ashes and Glass > Stuff > Come Together > St. Stephen > The Eleven |
