New York City will be a busy place Halloween weekend.  Not only is it The NYC Marathon on November 1st, but a bevy of Rock n Roll royalty will also be in town for 2 big nights at Madison Square Garden in celebration of 25 Years of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

October 29th, set to appear so far are:

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Darlene Love & Sam Moore.

Stevie Wonder with John Legend, Sting, Smokey Robinson & BB King.

Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel and Dion, and Little Anthony & The Imperials.

Crosby Stills and Nash with Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt & James Taylor.

Friday, October 30th will include:

The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin with Annie Lennox, and Lenny Kravitz.

Metallica will pound the Garden with Ozzy Osbourne and Lou Reed.

Eric Clapton & Jeff Beck will make a rare appearance together with blues legend Buddy Guy. Not since December 8, 1983 at the historic Ronnie Lane ARMS concert, have the two former Yardbirds appeared together in New York.   The appearance of Clapton & Beck will also serve as a launch for their tour together in 2010 which kicks off in February at London’s 02 Arena.

U2 will return to Madison Square Garden in a rare arena appearance during their U2 360 tour.
