Madonna MDNA Tour 2012

As part of her MDNA 2012 Tour, pop music legend Madonna will be playing two shows at Yankee Stadium in early September. Dates also include September shows in Boston, MA and Atlantic City, NJ. The tour has already made nearly 50 million dollars, and is being hailed as a spectacle one would expect from Madonna.

This critical success comes despite the cancellation of the Australian leg of the tour, which has Australian fans in an uproar. Madonna has also cancelled shows in Australia for her last two tours, and fans complain that she hasn’t been ‘down-under’ for 20 years.

The MDNA tour has sparked controversy (as usual) in Europe, where she has performed recent shows. Edinburgh, Scotland police had requested that Madge ditch some prop guns which she uses in the show, in the wake of recent gun violence. But the singer reportedly refused and no charges were filed.
